Stats: at 10 weeks old Kaylee was 11lbs 3 oz (35%) 23 inches long (60%). Size 0-3 month and some 3 month clothes, size 1 diaper
Sleep: Kaylee is sleeping through the night! Her last feeding is at 10pm and she usually wakes up around 6:30am. She has only woken up in the middle of the night a few times because she broke out of her swaddle.
Naps: we have started working on naps in the last few weeks. I am trying to put her down at the first sign that she is tired...usually about 1 hour to an hour and 15 minutes after he beginning of the last feeding. She usually fusses for a few minutes and then falls asleep in my arms while I am bouncing or rocking. I swaddle her and she sleeps for about 30-40 minutes. The challenge is getting her to finish the nap. We are still working on this. She is a much happier baby now that she is taking some naps!
Eating: Kaylee is eating about every 2.5 hours throughout the day (7 feedings). We will be trying to drop the last feeding in the next few weeks since I always have to wake her up for it anyways.
Milestones: taking naps! Batting toys, smiling, cooing, rolling to her side, holding head at a 90 degree angle during tummy time, sucking on hands
Firsts: time meeting granny and pop, Mother's Day, baby dedication, meeting Aunt Peggy, Michelle, and grandmother Mary, going to belle island, sitting in bumbo, trip to the pool (it was too cold to get in so we just dipped her toes in the water)
Likes: starfish, being sung to, being vertical, bouncing, glider and kicking toys, playmat, raggapenguin
Dislikes: swing, car seat sometimes
Like dad: eyebrow raise, crazy faces, feet, morning person, stretches
Like mom: ummm yeah
Challenges: still very gassy and lots of crying some days. Better naps usually means less crying
